"Вы уже заметили санкции? Если не заметили, то почему?!!"
Отличный репортаж из Москвы от Rebel News:

For all people posting about low salaries in Russia - you have to take into account many other factors to have a clear judgement on the overall final total and the quality of life:
1. ALL household bills, for example for average apartment in Moscow, come to approximately $200 now (including heating, electricity and mobile phone contracts (minutes and data unlimited) for the whole family). The above figure also includes ALL bills for the average additional country home with decent plot of land that almost every family in Russia has, where they can have small supplementary holding and grow own produce including life stock.
2. In Russia people do not have deductions that can take away from 1/3 to almost half off the salary (like in the Western countries) such as national insurance and income tax .
3. Please also note that mortgage market is relatively new to Russia - everyone had municipal apartments/houses that government allowed to privatise for relatively little money - therefore, unlike in the West where a lot of people rent or pay mortgage, everyone or majority in Russia actually OWN an apartment or a house.
4. Government also pays in the range of approximately $10000 for every child being born now with maternity certificates that families/parents can spend on buying land/apartments/houses. Whereas in the West people pay mortgages until their pension and this takes major chunk out of the ownings.
5. Starting from $3000 -5000 you can actually buy decent plot of land (lets say on average approximately 1000 - 3000 sq m) for example in Moscow region with or without existing old house - many families use maternity certificates to purchase the land and build or renovate the house, or buy a new apartment from the developer with the same certificate.
